Thats the last time i come and wish u good luck while trying to play 4 tables
Plyed over 2 -3 hours - Lost 1-2 buyins early - flips - Then picked up nuts in 3 way pot with set of kings nd they actually had full stacks - Was saying GL to Don on other table and got timed out - The biggest pot in 2 hours -
But what u gonnna do - Actually picked up well after that and had bit of a mad period with some good hands and found myself accidentally on a NL8 table as there is s a guy a like playin who ws on my NL4
99 pre in big blind, raise needs to be a LOT bigger here, at least 20p. Also I might just check in big blind and take free set mine.
Q7o calling minraise OOP is NOT good, you then minraise flop with 2nd pair no kicker what do you want to be called by? Luckily you slow down on turn river but then call off POT bet with 2nd pair no kicker, this is NOT good.
A9s not crazy about flatting minraise pre but I guess you're playing at 145 bb's deep with xxx so not awful. His flop bet at 75% imo is too much to call for flush draw as you're looking for half pot bets which give you better odds. Turn he bets just halfpot so you can probably just about flat this but why the **** would you minraise it's crazy. River he check folds to your bet, I'm utterly astonished he folded there and you were very spewy here imo.
Yeah, well done on your very profitable session but yeah you should definitely be valuebetting your KQ on the river. Nice to see you admitting you've been coolered when you hit TP with AQ and they've hit a set of 5s. Personally I don't like the 78s call in the first hand, higher levels (or against better players) yes but not here. You wanna be hitting big 2 pairs, big TPTKs, if you are hitting the flush, you want it to be the nut flush or close as (eg. KQs). But to be fair, it's VERY unlucky to flop a flush and find out someone else did the same but with higher cards lol.

You mentioned £250 somewhere, I hope you're not wasting your time on NL4/8 still, on NL10 immedietly imo.

Well it was £250 lol. I moved up to 8NL when I got to £200, had a great session and got up to £250 but thought I should probably do a few more sessions of 8NL (seen as I'd only done about 2) before I move up to 10NL. I lost a couple of BIs last night at 8NL and I've registered for the DTD tonight so I'm down to about £225.
Maybe I'm being on the cautious side but I just wanted a couple more winning sessions of 8NL before I went to 10NL. Plus I don't like stepping up a level when my last session was a losing one.

I know of one player that played a 100BI rule. Not sure how they get on now as ive not spoken to them for a long while.

Yeah I've read up alot about BRM, it's one part of my game that I take very seriously and I've heard many people say at least 50BIs which normally I think is fine and I would certainly stick to as I move up the levels. The only reason I'm being a bit less strict is because the number of fish at these levels mean that the losing sessions are much less often than you'd normally experience (less variance)
The diff between nl8 and nl10 issssssssssssss fa m8 , just skip this level and get on nl10 and as for brm IF ure a decent player 20 buy-ins is adequate

TBF £225 is still 22.5 BI's at NL10 and the way I'd look it is I have 2.5 BI's to burn if things go wrong, most the time you will find you do good (are up), to actually lose 2 BI's in a session at any level NL4-10 often means you've had a lot of run bad but overall you'll always win more than you lose playing the right way.
If you do play I would always do the start with 2 tables rule then add as you start to build a database on any new players.
Got a small session in. Actually was on for 1 hr 35 mins, ended session early as i hadnt seen a flop in 45 mins and it just seemed the nits where out in force meaning i just couldnt get value. Was 3 tabling for the first time but due to lack of play bordom was setting in which would lead to mistakes i felt.
Will show what hands i did get in although two are posted in clinic wont re-post them.

Despite ending my session early i felt this went reasonably well. Just one hand with loss over 50p and again profit is made.

Nice run Don - saw you win a cpl of buyins
I had 2 losing hands over £2
These - just stupid - could have got away from this with minimum damage. At worst should hve saved the 1.75 or 1,85
This was aginst the tilter lthough he had settled down a bit
not - so straightforwrad
Sorry to Hijack your thread DON - U can have it back soon - just need to get to end of month
I have 4000 poker points this month, about 3000 is from nl 4/8/10. Probably averaged out at minimum 3 hours a day on 6 tables.

2. Looks fine
3. Like it good stuff.
4. I raise pre to about 24p for value, then play it same way but with more wonga in da middle. As played I shove river.
5. I snap fold pre. As played I might fold flop and defo turn. Usually players who bet at this level (there aren't many) have a hand.
