In Response to Re: Horses for Cheltenham : First time poster in peace. I would like to say I think you have come in for a bit of uneccessary stick earlier on a different message topic, some like Father Viscount you have a good rapport with, others singing children's programme themes not so much, and on that front you are as bad as each other at times, although being a viewer only I am sure it is only banter. However, after viewing your scribblings over the last while, and albeit some fancies that never come to fruition, I see you have so much conviction in your picks and back them up with good analysis. Now your Akertac pick ran abysmally, but I respect your analysis of breaking down the trends, something I cannot possibly find the time to do with my busy schedule, and I'll let that one slide by as I backed it on your prediction. So I will therefore add you have made me a very happy man as I saw something like a rough diamond in your confidence behind Rock On Ruby, original post as has been recently posted by Father Viscount, the assessment of a form line which would see a less fancied animal turn tables on its superiors. In conclusion, my friends and I, who have the odd chuckle at you and your adversaries' antics on this forum from time to time, thought we would copy your four selections for the day, as they are not a 'standalone' prediction, but are backed up with understanding and reasoning, whatever the result.  And it was to our great joy that not only your Frooney O' Ronney managed to win my friends and I a handsome amount on place returns, and may I add very unlucky not to seal victory, but a superb tip of Rock On Ruby led us all to raise a glass in toast to Sir Bell of Poker for a wonderful financial result for us all, relegating the 'unbeatable' Hurricane Flight and for making a work associates day out such an enjoyable one.  Keep up the top class tipping and don't let other Imbeciles provoking you let them take you down to their level, as this is what happens, and your better than that, but you end up looking in the same or worse light than them after you bite back!   Stay focused and keep to the fine chap that you really are and I shall be tuning in tomorrow to see what you have in store then.  I thought it would be worthwhile to say thank you and show my appreciation   Kind regards, Mr T Z

ach shucks thats very kind dude,

im not long home after heading out klunchtime yesterday so missed tyoping anything ont hread today, naps, competitions , anything. not much missed, i was for calling the day off until the the rsa , pure get out of jail time again after first 2 races, bobs worths and fininans rainbow in 2 singles got me in profit again for the day, good profit for the week with ROR yesterday as well but when factored in the booze, cigs, grub,  taxis and multiple prossies (sorry that a lie, there was only 2, and they like 2 be called escorts) then i broke even.

less fortunate were bets ojn universal solider, sous les cieux and monksland dutched bet, veild/act of kalanisi in the coral, kapga de cerisy e/w in fred winter and a pretty big for my standards punt on moscow mannon in the bumper.

regardless, a good week all in so far, the ladies of the night did not allow me much sleep Mr tonzer so im on a catch up mission now but with a smile on my face nonetheless  :)  ill be happy with another winner 2mo

ill pop to the clinic nice and early after the night beofres exploits and hopefully after being given a clean bill of health i will put up a few selections for you then pal, take her easy, BELL

HARDEST DAY OF THE LOT IN MY OPINION.

ONLY THING I AM CERTAIN ABOUT IS KAUTO STAR WILL DEFINITELY NOT WIN GOLD CUP AND 99% CERTAIN LONG RUN WONT EITHER.

Who will I hear you say, well any one of 6 take your pick LOL

Well, you can't win them all!
    Dreadful day  with my selections.

Recovered some losses as I had Brindisi Breeze @10/1 and Attaglance @20/1.

1 non-runner and I had my loosing bet on Kauto Star refunded(some promotion on Bet 365).

2 losing days and 2 winning days.Well in front with profit though!

Whatever the outcome, Racing at Cheltenham in March is really entertaining.

Just a footnote .  I know I'm talking slightly through my pocket, but if anyone still has yesterday's racing saved, take a look at Desert Cry's run. I know I know it's a hold up/bridle horse, but nothing went right for it, and it finished hard on the bit. There is a big handicap in this horse at a very juicy price. Maybe the Swinton at Haydock, or something similar.
