Havent been on much today.Out and about with weeman.Subconsciously thinkin hes sayin words now after only 1 session.:).Prob just a mind trick but hey ho.I'm hopin to turn this into a random sort of diary chartin my poker progress as well as the weemans life progression.Wasnt meant to be the case when I started but the feedback has been mad.Like I say the contributions to this thread have been phenomenal and hope they continue.
ps.I'm plannin on garnerin a 2nd laptop so the lack of facebook action for my wife dosent become a world changin issue:)))Think the sharin of one has finally reached its tether.Hope to keep chartin the weemans progress as well as my own for those that are interested in this thread.
    Cheers.
    Paul.

    Hi Paul
I think with the way the modern day is going it will turn into WWIII if you dont
    buy another laptop/desktop.
I bought my kids a laptop each for xmas as i was getting no time on my pc then
my missus was also invading my space so she got one as well. Costly but the quiet times
and lack of arguments has paid for itself already.
    Only 6 months later,
when the kids go out. They were moaning that they bored in the car one day and after
my latest win on the tables. They now have a ipad each as well which i thought was a
waste of money but had turned into real value as they have so much stuff available.
Im on holiday from Monday night so may not be able to keep up with the thread like i hoped.
Hope you and the weeman have a lovely weekend and that u dont get too much aggro
from the other half over your over useage of the laptop.
    Cheers
    Nigel

    Hi Chopos

It brought a tear to my eye when i saw the pain you were going through. Although its different, i lost my brother Mark in tragic circumstances and felt that things would never be the same. They never will be but they can be different from how they are now. You recognise that you haven't really grieved fully and that is a good start. Find a good site or book concerning grief. There really is a way to help yourself with it. The lovely thing is that you've still got a family to channel your love into. And now you know how short life can be so get channelling friend!!

One piece of advice i was given and took was to put Mark inside me so tha what i saw, he saw etc. It helped for me and i can honestly say that i'm at my most content ever. Although i'm divorced my children are wonderful.

They are now fed up of hearing about my poker but did buy me 'Ace in the Hole' and a new poker outfit for fathers day......how lucky am i!!!(By the way its a dinosaur to help my aggression!). Hope this helps...best wishes

Folks, since the thread has been up people at tables I've been on have commented with really positive comments on my story and the others.Tonight in a timed tourney after someone took a bad beat at my hands(had 10 bbs left went all in with q 7 clubs, was 1st to act btw tryin to take blinds and hit against oppos k j clubs)the dogs abuse that was forthcomin was ridiculous, oppo then had 10s done by k 10 then went nuclear on us both long after elimination. The unspoken swear word was used quite a bit!!Now I'm a grown boy and have heard some chat in my times (and said quite a bit also!),so its water off a ducks back,my question is,is a £5.50 loss such a big issue to go off like that?I'll just keep pointin folk towards this thread, let them read it and then see how big a loss it is compared to others.Cheers.

Glad to hear it Paul!!  The speech therapy will bring him along nicely.  There will be no stopping him now!  My wee man shocked me the other day, we were sitting in a waiting room about to go in for an appointment when he picked up an orange crayon and clear as a bell said orange!!  He has also started counting to 4.  It's the things like that that really brighten up your whole day :D
