a thread dedicated to moaning about sky. This isnt directed towards MRBURNS but everyone conssantly moaning about skypoker yet you have all remained and/or remain to play here. THAT MAKES SENSE. NAAAAAT. If your unhappy with a service provided you would stop using that service, simple. great way to spend your weekend nights, sit moaning about stuff on the internet. sick lives.

If you would look at the bigger picture and see that some people are trying to be constructive to improve the site, maybe you would realise that even conglomerates like SKY need negative feedback.

You win tonights stupid post award

Surely you understand that a lot of people (myself included) really enjoy moaning and ranting.  Some nights its the only reason I play on here.

im pretty sure majority of posts not only on this thread, but entire forum are unconstructive rants about how bad sky is. People can put their points across in a much more thought out way. you quite clearly have tunnel vision though, purely based on your last comment. pretty sure i just opened another thread and instantly thought to myself 'is this opening poster challenged'

Losing a £55 buy in for a main event through technical problems may be just a blip to your bankroll, but to most of us it's a big issue.
I'm surprised at your comments. Most of the posts on the thread are made by players who respect and admire your play, who follow your progress in major tournaments and want nothing less than you being successful in taking Sky to a greater audience!
To diss the recreational players who make up the majority of the site IMO is very selfish and short sighted.
Lose the minnows, then where do you make your money?

Hursty I think the point is we like playing here and although it seems like moaning, we are trying to put the obvious problems right so we can all carry on with the great camaraderie that we have here on Sky until quite recently.

My opinion is that SKY customer service that we contact are not Sky Poker focussed and are general SKY bet customer service operators that have generic answers to queries and not aware of current issues or Poker problems and cannot understand our poker 'speak' to resolve the issues.

I think that most of us want to stay here and will do so if Sky will address the issues and more importantly agree that there ARE issues and update us all with their plans on improving the Sky poker experience

Please elaborate on your thoughts about my "tunnel vision". My last comment was purely on your dismissal of everything in your opinion! Or is your opinion mire important than the OPs and other contributors.

" Hi everyone - we are trying hard to keep this thread open and sensible but any comments which are insulting to Sky Poker or its staff will be deleted. We will keep it open but if it gets out of hand, we will close it. We really do not want to close this thread but equally, we do not want it to get silly. Thanks Sky Poker" i am sorry but if this is aimed at me i am offended  my post was fair, i expect live help team to have a fair idea what a dym is on a poker site?

A very good point! - Bit short sighted Hursty, dont you think?

£55 is £55 no matter whether it cripples your bankroll or not, nobody would want tlose that. If that comes by way of a series of disconnections then the site simply has to act on it.
Whilst SKY have ALWAYS reimbursed me with any issues due to tournaments freezing its pretty difficult to keep tabs on whats lost due to constant disconnections. Having said that id rather the tournaments didnt freeze, it just looks so unprofessional hence why confidence in the site gets lost, its grief i could do without having to ring the sky help team and spend ages trying to explain whats happened, getting put throught to the poker team who may have gone home, ring tomorrow etc........

Thews at 10 springs to ming as 1 comp that did excatly this.

You seem pretty sure of yourself?

Just a quick question... Challenged how?

I would hate to think that you are making an assumption on a persons Mental or Physical "Challenges" based on their words. If you are, I can not begin to tell you how rude, bigoted and offensive that would be. The irony being that this type of behaviour is the worst kind of "Tunnel Vision".

firstly your last post, we wont lose the minnows, because none of you will leave. hence my point. secondly there will always be new influxes of players to the site. and i already know that new software is under development, ive seen it. And it doesnt run on the flash software of the current software. Which is what makes players (incl myself ) have most of our current problems. Of course id be angered at losing £55 due to being d/c, but i fail to see anyone whos had this problem genuinly and not been refunded. most of these problems, what ive encountered are when they have these large freeroll events. what happened last monday was something ive rarely ever seen since playing on sky near the start. As of what people think of me, doesnt bother me. those who have met me in person will only have good things to say about me ( i think ) but to sit here reading some of the comments posted, half the people need a slap (in a humerous 'why are you posting this' kinda way)

Im sure that the customer care chat are people who cover all areas of the sky online gaming brand. therefore if someone your talking to seems ignorant or w/e to your query then why do people instantly come on to this forum running there mouths about how bad sky are. i think they need customer care that has dedicated teams for each sector, who know all about poker, or bigno etc. thats all thats needed for 'constructive critism'. people dont need to come and post stuff like 'Sort it out Sky!!!!!! blah blah worst site on the planet blah blah'

im 100% confident ive never said my opnion is better or worth more than anyone elses, im making a point of people making ludacris statments and being of no help to sky at all. You skip along and claim i made a dumb post. therefore your narrow minded 'tunnel vision', you cannot sit there and say to me, everything i just said is dumb, when i quite clearly have a point. as do you, which i do agree with the point! just not the way people put it across.

I hate to bundle in on this thread as well, but I think MrBurns' OP has been completely derailed by all this.

I'm not undermining all the troubles that people have had, but Sky already know all this and if they didn't MrBurns has pretty much covered them all in his OP, so I think it's probably best to just wait and see what happens from here.

Please can we keep the comments about how we can move forward. This may be a very good chance to move forward between the players and sky the problem is in my view people are getting so frustrated with this terrible communication problem sky have with us.

I don't. Want to leave or why would I have bothered posting the post I did but unless we can move forward now I will of course move the final roll out so I have already voted with my money but I want this site to work as I stated at the start.

So what do we want no moans please just tell it as it Is in a constructive respectful way and sky stop being over sensitive

    Your arrogance is unbelievable.................

You still have not explained how you think I am challenged either, but I will save you the long winded response. Your failed attempt at humour related to a completely different thread that was part of a year long CHALLENGE that us minnows took time out of our sad lives to do. If you would take the time out to read the said challenge, you would also notice that around 100 minnows took part in a game tonight to celebrate the challenge being achieved.

Yes, you have a point, but that doesn't mean others don't. And fyi I don't skip along, I stand by my post that your initial contribution was ill thought out and stupid.
