    Ladies gents, and all.
At least a year ago, if not longer, on the poker forum (where regarded numpty number 1)
I said, don't, do not bet in running, where and why, you are a million, because it's no level playing field, specifically mentioning PLUMPTON Monday meetings, and the in running Drone toutches

    Today's Gaurdian
Still, today, a chunk of punters that dabble in running, zero idea on the latency (delay)
Over 16 years ago + when a close pal in the bookmaking industry and myself worked out an angle for ourselves, it was this.
Because, for a continuous 6 year period, every day, was hours and hours, pricing up graded racing dog markets, then hours and hours watching graded dog racing and in essence, the 5 minutes of any graded race market pre off
I quickly worked out, it only involved one particular track, in the south, cottoned onto it rapid, as I practically knew the dogs and form and tissue prices with my eyes shut.

Noticed, on certain races at this track, I was suddenly getting price matched, at this one particular price, which was 15 (14-1) this was in those days, when the exchange bet matching mechanism (algorythms) were way way different, auto matched top price! very handy at the time
You could have, a solid 4-1 shot, sitting there all day, on the back side unmatched, which got filled in about a second pre suspend pre off, the 'layer the other side' was ahead of even the exchange suspend (latency) so blinking real.

But,he,she they, not cute enough, even with that advantage, to only concentrate on dogs that had too lead, you know the coup, trap1 only early paced dog in a field of slow boats, solid 6-4 shot, if it goes around in front, it's 4-6, if it misses it and gets led, it's a 64-1 shot!

This firm, only for a couple months, we're able to lay dogs, that missed the break.
So, what my pal and I did, was specifically try to find, habitual break missers, habitual slow starters, some dogs because of their run style, last away can be good! a strong staying slow starting strong finishing bang railer, or the same in stripes. Think Scourlogue Champ, but graded.
Found two particular very strong dogs, with the run modus operandi required.
And got the lot, twice each dog, for plenty at 15 (14-1) twice each, always a way 😉

One of my best best doggy anecdotes
Graded dog GIZZAJOB a grader at Romford
trained by Mr Allsop, who lived Grove Park SE9 I resided up the road
his brother Keith (phenomenal snooker player, punter and bang tight mate)
GIZZAJOB, the middle distance Romford grader, wins the greyhound St Ledger at Wembley oh yes Gizza did, I was there with Keith and family screaming the place down.
John Power delighted to pay us out
GIZZAJOB won the St Leger at 33-1 sp. Skinner for the track bookies
We had some of the best nights, on the flapping tracks with Gizza any race 700m + Oye Oye 😉

I got distracted, from today's Gaurdian Drone Wars

just in case, someone trys a 'technical issue' they have before, will again, save until any you guys n gals accept a drink at the races, when this 'insanity' over

'owned & trained' Mr Allsop Grove Park, 'attached John Coleman Romford'
that night Gizza, won the Ledger at Wembley, Keith (Allsop) my buddy, rejecting all sorts of offers, for two dogs and two **** litter brothers and sisters bred in purple, Gizzas exploits on the flaps, all on VHS video, for history 😉

ZARAFSHANS price down to 6-4,now only 5 to beat, but the ole rule4, if 3s at time of deduction 25p in pound, if 7-2 20p in pound, Mukkha Magic pulled out, which I thought was the danger, well see.
and the Laura Morgan yard, warm again, FOR FITZ SAKE 7-2 into tops 7-4, getting the value one thing, landing the punts another!, but a Traders 'paradise'!
THE SUN DANCE KID, solid at 11s 12s, all at 12.35,be lucky, always pj

if you never bet horses at 50-1 you won't ever back winners at 50-1
Willie Mullins 'take him at his word'!
recently took into his yard, this horse from France, transferred to Willie Mullins 2nd week of January. Willie Mullins 'take him at his word' has given this a solitary Cheltenham entry, and said this is aimed at The Champion Hurdle, no idea if this will get a prep run? but if it does, and impresses it will not be the 50-1 it is right now, at 3pm Feb 16th

Adding 2.5 points each way a fifth 1 2 3 at 50-1 JAMES DU BERLAIS

recently (having got, getting back into racing) delighted to find out, having mentioned Alan only a few days ago, that THE ANORAK' is still going mighty strong, and Against The Crowd, way to go, always, Pottsy.

Might invest my skybet anniversary present on this 😉

? maybe, there are a collection of savvy Shrewdies, on here, me, I honestly don't know, because of Lone Wolf Mentality!
    the 3 I relate too, Misty4me, Vaigret, gpc70

today, no good, however, betting backing 3,at top of the market prices, long term is manna

THE SOME DANCE KID, 14-1 > 11-1 'track show' sp 12s, Skybet on the off 17-2!
starting price returns, right now, stuff of nightmares, but an obvious bang trier, we just keep backing them
FOR FITZ SAKE (traded stupid short in running 4 out!)
7-2 'opening show 7-4' on course drifter, sp 5-2
ZARFASHAN 3-1 'opened 6-5' sp 11-8 if that was mine, would be most unhappy with the ride, the kept on one pace, accurate, I would add, nothing like enough b.linking use made of, at all, another day material.
Shainghighed the price, every one, just one of those Noye-Ence days!
    pj

left out a glaring ommission the other day
Matt Williams left the Post? circa 2009? or 2010, mustard in running Punter down the (at the time) fast pics Welsh specialist trading room. The Cardiff trading room, 2010.
Apparently (pj out the loop, but getting back in) Matt came back? (don't do social media, so I wouldn't know)
Sharp as a tack, opinionated, rubbed a few up the wrong way! always 'outspoken' at ie pre Cheltenham meet the punters, days, he made several, fortunes being a superb in running judge.

Some bet that FOR FITZ SAKE down to 4-7 in running, and all rates above, data, freely available, the boys in Halifax.
On the right hand side of sp (5-2) always is, shortest price traded in running (1.6) 4-7.

well your going to be busy the next few days,i see Gosden's dropped the pony back to six for the Wolverhampton race it might work but DON'T bank on it.
three reasons not to back under wraps
1 because it's Gosden's first time in a handicap owned by cheveley park your not going to get it's real price.
2 it was completely dwarfed in size and scope buy the two who went past it on it's last run,i no size is not everything but........it helps.
3 i don't want to buy you that drink we had on lol.

don't worry, drinks on moi, if (when)? Easter Bank Holiday Weekend, Boris let's us all go racing, rather than (he think we all got Picnic Hampers) itching to be filled, afternoon tea with cucumber sarnies!
gp, the two that finished in front of Under Wraps that day at Kempton, in notebook under could be anything, of course, a tiny pony! just think Gozzer will get a sprint handicap or two, outta it.

those two head the market at 10-3 and 9s,but,there will not be, any bet, any horse, that if winning at Cheltenham, will 'irk me' if I have backed it, and not put it in here, it was my full intention to post it, even mentioned it, but mentions are no good, this is the only horse, I have backed for Cheltenham, that I haven't named as a bet, correcting that now, because of its run in Ireland, who owns it, more so, believe me or don't, connections, to quote the pilot that sat on its back, 'they are convinced' they have the beating of BILLAWAY, that's fav at 10-3,this,you can have......

    Saturday Night
Finally, David Avanesyan gets Josh Kelly in the ring
lots of real history and niggle, between these two
Fast Car Eddie can't have the judges onside in this one ( the farcical scorecards) in the Zelfa Barret Kiko Martinez fight last week, were a shambolic disgrace, so bad even Eddie (h) Earn had no choice, but to call out the officials as exactly that, a disgrace, and Barrett who got a ridiculous 118_111 on one scorecard, is in Fast Cars Stable and 'won' the fight
4-6 Kelly 5-4 Arvaneysan, convinced the wrong way around, plus some
Round Betting (grouped) Avanesyan to win the fight, in any of rounds 7-12
    four points, Win at 11-2
DAVID AVANESYAN to win the fight 16 points win 5-4

So much in common although Im a bit older as for GUY HARWOOD and PROVIDEO , big favourites of mine as well. Followed Bill O 'Gorman and Tony Ives very closely.

WELL DONE Paul @misterpj with TYGER BAY tonight :)

I don't bet on the All-Weather, and hardly ever on the FLAT either, but it's good to see you picking the winners.

I wouldn't give up on FIRE ATTACK. The stable obv. thinks it's good horse with the number of times it get's well-backed, but I think it will be better on better going, and the horse that beat it last Sunday THEDEVILSCOACHMAN (TDC) is a VERY,VERY good horse, with a fantastic turn of foot and a great attitude. I'm not surprised SKYBET boosted APPRECIATE IT to11/4 Fav. The only downside to TDC is that although Noel Meade is a very good trainer, he hasn't had many winners at the CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL, just 5 in total in 20 years, normally one every 4 or 5 years..... the good thing is, it's been 4 years since his last CHELTENHAM winner, and he has won the Supreme Novice Hurdle twice before.

I started writing this post a few days ago, but I've been having problems with the keys on lappy only working intermittently.... sends you BONKERS :s:s

I think we're all around the same age.....Loved PROVIDEO and PRIMO DOMINI (best horse Bill O'Gorman trained).....SPINDRIFTER |(multi-multiple winner) and the likes, when they could win loads of 2-y-o races. From memory didn't PROVIDEO win Brocklesby, first race of Flat Season at Donny, and then about 16 more races?

    Great Memories :)

GOOD LUCK and HAPPY PUNTING ........we've got some very good racing to look forward to this weekend, and some warm weather too.....just hope the SUN doesn't get too low and half the hurdles and fences are omitted, though I think ASCOT and NEWBURY are usually ok on that score.

Anyone who knows Jez knows he has dedicated his life to fast women and slow horses.

Following a recent bout of bad health, his medical team have suggested he is getting a little old for wine, women and song.

From hereon Jez has vowed to give up singing :)
